UGREEN NASync DXP4800 Plus

After finally getting our backordered hard drives I finally got the Nas system set up! It was really easy following the instructions given by UGreen. I got it set up in about a half an hour and go the shared folders set up for our employees to use.

This nas is amazing its the best tech purchase ive made in a long time. The only thing I dont like is that you cant use some apps like Plex and Immich without having to use docker. I'd rather choose what apps I want to use on my nas than have someone else decide what apps are allowed and which ones are not.

So Far So Good. Installed 4 Intel NSG 800GB 2.5 Inch SSDs I had laying around. Configured as RAID5. I did not see much sense in adding NVME SSD drives for caching while using SSDs as the primary stoage are SATA SSDs, and memory prices are crazzy right now. I backup my Ubuntu Development system with files that get change daily to the NAS. The utilities are easy to use. No regrets yet. I also backup to a cloud service just incase I have a dual system failure. Overall no issues and happy with the system.
