Out of the many Pultec-style EQs available, this one feels particularly refined. It delivers clarity and depth while offering controllable harmonic saturation reminiscent of the original hardware. I find the low end stays solid and powerful, and the workflow is fast thanks to well-designed, mix-ready presets. A very musical and inspiring EQ. Highly recommended.

One of the best Pultec EQ plugins I have tried

Overloud Gem EQP is honestly one of the best Pultec-style EQ plugins I've used, even compared to a lot of others that were around back in 2010. It’s perfect for boosting the top end on strings and vocals — super smooth and natural, without sounding harsh. I also love that you can actually see the EQ curve in real time. It makes it really easy to understand how the BOOST and ATTEN controls are shaping the sound, which is great even if you're just getting started. If you're looking for a Pultec-style EQ that sounds amazing and is easy to use, I highly recommend Gem EQP.
