Organic Down Throw Blanket

Bought two for Euro-style sleeping!

GF and I got back from Switzerland and Italy this summer and loved having two separate down comforters/duvets at all the hotels we stayed at. So I started hunting to replace my King down insert with two European "singles" (US twins are too large) and I was having a hard time finding something that size here in the US made from higher quality all goose down feathers that was reasonably priced. I finally stumbled on this down throw from Feathered Friends and it seems perfect. Not too warm (a concern since we sleep hot) and very light weight, it is comfortable and easy for either of us to open up or kick off the covers on a hot summer night without waking up the other. The fabric is still a little crinkly so hoping a few washes will soften them up (I haven't washed them yet). I did ask their customer service if it was ok to regularly wash them in a front loading washing machine and they said it wasn't a problem, they just recommend using laundry detergent for down garments and some dryer balls as well for fluffing it up,

great material and color

The throw is very very comfortable. I love the soft rumpled fabric. I had ordered 4 down throws from Garnet Hill which were less expensive, but didn’t have the character of this.
