I wanted to find a great premium coffee that tastes great without cream or sugar. I saw Bird Rock at CostCo different roast and bought it. I liked it but my wife did not care for it. A few months later I saw that Bird Rock was a local San Diego business and since i live in San Diego i went to their website. The Optimist Blend looked interesting to try but i was worried about my wife since she didnt care for the blend I got at CostCo. We both loved it and will continue to buy it. Its great black, my wife takes her coffee wirh cream and sugar; she loves the fact that the coffee does not need as much sugar. Here is the fact i love the most. When you order it on line it is roasted when they get the order so it freshly roasted and you can taste it. Highly recommend Bird Rock!!
