Great Item

Worked as promised and integrated nicely into Apple Homekit. I did not accept the first option to join HomeKit and waited until switchbot app was successfully working , then added.

I wish I knew about this long time ago

As others have mentioned in their feedback - it is much easier to pair to HomeKit. I’ve had several different brands (they cost way more than SwitchBot) and they’re incredibly pain in the butt to pair to HomeKit. After 30th attempts it’ll finally pair. But then doesn’t stay online with HomeKit if no activity for several hours. This one took one try! It’s been online and consistent since day 1. I was shocked to see how this is the cheapest one I’ve seen and proven to be reliable AND provide cool feature with energy monitoring! For those expensive brands I’ve had in the past literally has no features like this. Save your money for this best and cheaper that does so much more!

Good product but a few limiting features

The energy usage is only saved in daily intervals. It needs to be at least hourly, if not 1 minute like other SwitchBot monitoring devices. It claims it is rated for 15 amps, but one of SwitchBot mini plugs is still faulting at less than 15 amps.
