Life improved! But flicker is too distracting.

Love the features, long battery life, and colours! Would be 5-star, but every screen refresh, the whole screen spends ~15 seconds spasming/flickering. The flashing is too distracting/distressing to leave the device in commonly-used areas (dining or living room), so its main purpose is self-defeated.

Clarifying

Device is wonderful - had the og now with colour, it’s even better. Giving the Terminal X colour would make it better. I usually use the device for data outputs like weather, calendar, train times, quotes and the like but now with the subtle colour addition I get the joy of adding a few choice photos to my rotation and they bring delight to me every day. My only complaint which is not about the device is the addition of import duties post shipping which somewhat spoil the customer experience. That said, having the clarity kit already applied and the colour in particular make this feel like a purchase I’ll not regret. If only I could swap the old og for a colour one…
