It's turned my ancient door buzzer into a keyless entry into my building. Exactly as advertised! For my purpose it probably could use like 1N more force or mount it securely with more than just the sticky, but its just enough for me to buzz in if I time it right.

Works Well, Hub Configure Difficult

Got the switch bot combo, which included the switch bot switch and hub mini. Once set up and configured, the switch but switch works reliably and functions well for me. I’m using it on my garage door switch to open and close my garage door using Alexa. The only problem I encountered was getting the mini hub to connect to the Internet via my router. It seemed that no matter what I did, it would not connect to the Internet. I read the FAQs watched a bunch of YouTube videos, but nothing seemed to work. While logging into my router interface (a TP link AX 1000) I noticed that an IP address had been assigned to the mini hub via DHCP. So I went to a command line on my Windows PC and pinged the IP address, where the mini hub was supposedly connected After I did that, the light on the mini hub stopped flashing and connected properly . I unplugged the hub two more times and repeated the process and after I did a ping, connection was successful. Perhaps this “mini hack” will be helpful to others.
