Dried Slab Apricots

I grew up in an area where during the summer we “cut cots” for summer money. That was 1960’s. They still taste the same.

Their taste is wonderful with just the right sweetness. The price is reasonable. I don’t understand the difference in the curing process between California dried and Turkish apricots. Turkish gives me terrible diarrhea and California style do not. The ingredient lists look the same but my results are not.

The slab apricots were sweet and delicious. These were better than the apricots I have purchased at the market.
