Boot Socks

The Trades sock is the standout. The mesh venting across the top of the foot is not a gimmick — my feet stay noticeably drier through a full day on my feet, and there’s no odor even after long wear. The terry cushion is generous without feeling bulky in a boot. Made in the USA, and the 99-day guarantee is a fair backstop. My one real gripe is the height. Hollow lists the Trades sock as mid-calf, but it isn’t — it comes up damn near to my knee. That’s a lot of sock in July. I understand why tall heights exist for boot coverage and for compression styles, but this is a sock explicitly built for hot weather, and the cuff fights that. Please put the vented Trades construction in a true crew height. I’d buy a drawer’s worth. Not cheap at $44.99 a pair, though bundle pricing softens it. The quality is genuinely there — just be aware of what you’re pulling on before you order.

I really like the material, there’s no hype regarding the claims in my opinion. The only thing I find problematic is the elasticity in the narrow cuff which leaves a compression ring in my calf. I hsve six pair of calf length socks from Hollow that made this noticeable after I received them. It may be a difficult thing to change in the manufacturing of these socks. I bought 4 pair of the boot socks despite this problem because of the material.

Have now bought from here twice. Love the sock comfortable and very durability. Will be order from here in future as well.
