Comfortable fit for my Tailors bunion

The websites instructions for foot measurements to determine proper size worked perfectly. Due to a recently developed Tailors bunion I wasn't sure what size to purchase. These shoes were definitely worth the price. I can now ride for hours without my foot getting numb. I use these MX-201's with spd pedals and look forward to miles of biking comfort. I will only buy Lake cycling shoes in the future.

I’m sure it won’t surprise you that I have foot problems and wide feet and only can wear “wide toe box” shoes (especially Altras). So when my favorite bike shoes were wearing out I was panic-buying every shoe I could find that was advertised as “wide toe box”. After buying about 6 or 7 pairs at about $150-$200 each, I found a couple pairs that were bearable but ultimately gave me pain after many miles. I bought these MX-201 shoes specifically for mountain biking and fitted them with spd cleats and they were so comfortable that I swapped out the pedals on my road bike to match and I haven’t used any of the other shoes I bought since I bought these. I waited until a restock and bought a second pair because I cannot bear the thought of going back to any other bike shoe.
