Anthem AVM 70 Preamp/Processor

Initial setup needs some documentation tough love, but Bravo Anthem--BRAVO!

Worthwhile Upgrade

I upgraded from my 6-year-old AVM 60, primarily to get HDMI 2.1 functionality that my new 4K TV needed in order to perform its best. I do believe the ARC implementation in the AVM 70 is better in both setup and sound. I appreciated the setup and tips video link that was emailed to me by Audio Advice, despite the fact that the narration speed was a bit too fast. Scott just naturally talks fast and enthusiastically. I was disappointed in the double-boxing of the AVM 70 by Audio Advice. The inner box had only a single sheet of fully compressed brown packing paper, which allowed the factory AVM 70 box to float around inside the double box. There was minor damage to both the outer and inner box, but no damage to the equipment.
