Roving Romper PDF Sewing Pattern

Cute!

Ignore the clips, I tried it on for the straps and haven’t tried it again after lol. The pattern is cute! I did size down because the fabric I was using was very stretchy and it was perfect. I also added some thickness to the straps and used 1/2inch elastic and that worked out very well I like the thicker straps. I also cut the back higher so it had more coverage. I added 3 inches to the torso based on the high point measurements, but with this fabric I think I could have just added 2 or maybe 1 but if I had used a thicker/less stretchy fabric it would have been more important. Very straight forward pattern, I enjoyed it! Using an elastic foot on my surger made it a breeze.

Perfect Costume!

I was hired by my friend to make costumes for her one-woman comedy show and she had a dream for this glitzy unitard for the finale! We were both so excited when we found this pattern and new it would be the perfect fit to upcycle this material. I've never made a garment like this before but was very pleased with how user friendly the pattern was. I was originally scared of this project/stretchy material, but I couldn't be happier with how this turned out and know this will be the perfect addition to her show!
