DECAF

It was a gift but by all accounts, it is amazing and goes perfectly with his new coffee machine. The decaffeinated was for my daughter and myself, and it is difficult to tell the difference between the two.

I’m not normally one to write reviews, good or bad, but you did ask for feedback, so at the risk of sounding like a Karen here we are. I’m a pretty regular Willow Bend drinker. I’ll often go out of my way to go to coffee shops that use your beans, and I buy them myself fairly often too. This order was a bit bigger than usual as I was grabbing beans for family for Easter. I ordered online in the morning and got the email saying it was ready to pick up. When I got there though, it didn’t really feel “ready.” The girl serving wrote my order number on a serviette, then went on to take another 6–7 orders, each one with a full on kiss and greet like they’d just walked into a 21st. Friendly, sure, but not exactly quick. By the time she came back to mine, she went straight to packing and grinding it, which makes me wonder what the “ready for collection” email actually means if it’s still being done on the spot. After waiting another few minutes, I grabbed a coffee as well. Not to sound entitled, but after dropping a couple hundred on beans, I did think maybe that might have been a small goodwill moment, but I get everyone’s trying to make a dollar. Not the end of the world, just a bit of an inconvenient and slightly disjointed experience, made a bit more noticeable while juggling a kid in a stroller. I'll keep buying the beans because they're delicious!

Great taste, great postage and very fresh ! Only concern is the grind size. I've ordered many different decaf blends from various places over the years, and for some reason this is the only decaf that seems to be grinded too fine. This has occurred more than once.
