I saw a CC Forty a few years ago when i was building a DJ and grabbed one. Since then, I have replaced the stock headsets on my other bikes with these. No nonsense, noise free and you're able to service them over time. I expect they will be installed on the next frames and have many years of use. Exactly what a headset should be.

Last Head set for the Trek 8.1 DS

The old Trek DS vintage 2013 needed a headset upgrade to relieve the bike of excess weight from an old low end steel cup and caged bearing headset. Don't get me wrong caged bearings are still awesome and so is steel depending on the application. For the Trek DS something lighter and sealed bearing was in order. The 40 Series ZS is perfect and east to install.
