Nice to have a big spool

I don't know as it differs from 50 lb saltwater hard mono in any way, but it's nice to get it in a bigger spool and pay less per foot for the portion of leader line you'll use the most of making leaders for salt. If you tie your own leaders for a 7-9 weight, this butt material is a must have.
