Reckless 40 - Ultimate Rackless
If you're thinking of switching from hard panniers (as I was) to rackless, or if you're in the market for your first set of ADV panniers whether for strictly road touring or for offroad adventures (or both), the Mosko Reckless 40 is the ultimate choice. The combination of ultra-light, ultra packable, waterproof, and bombproof features leaves little room for competition in the market. I have always used hard racked panniers and top cases - always. After my last trip (2850 miles over 9 days) my conclusion was: weight and top-heaviness were detrimental to my fully engaged enjoyment of the ride. I began my search for a rackless system and exhaustively watched video after video; comparison videos, out of the box videos, review videos, sales pitch videos from Mosko, Lone Rider, Tusk, Enduristan, and Giant Loop. After 80+ hours of research and comparison, I felt as if the 40L Reckless with Aux Pox and an Alpine 30L duffel were/are the solution that best fits what I need out of luggage. I do intend to use the 8L Stinger with beavertail on smaller trips (2-3 day max), and in retrospect should have gotten the 22L Stinger, but since I already had the 30L Alpine duffel I went with the 8L. Keeping in mind I wanted a) to force myself to pack less than I currently pack (Givi Trekker Outback panniers and top box) and b) go as light as possible while remaining virtually indestructable..... I found myself looking at the Mosko Alpine 60L, Mosko Reckless 40 Enduristan Hailstorm, the Tusk Excursion, and the Giant Loop Coyote. All relatively the same size, all relatively the same cost (Tusk the exception). Based on all my video research and past experience with the Alpine 30 duffel, I went with the Alpine 40 Reckless. Watched the install video 2x, put it together in under 30 minutes, and am now completely sure I made the correct choice. So light. So bombproof. Easy to pack and manage. easy to get on and off the bike (I don't use the Gnoblin). If you're on the fence about it, hopefully this review helps you make the right choice. For me, the Reckless 40L + AuxPox is exactly what I needed.

Unbeatable Luggage
I absolutely love these bags. I choose Mosko Moto gear because they design their products with true RND. They get out and ride and live with this gear and truly think of everything to make them better. Worth every penny.

New customer
New to mosko and couldn't be happier with my purchase. There are so many little details, and features that make this setup amazing. Ive had one quick overnight so far but hitting Oregon BDR this weekend and confident this system will work perfectly. Thanks for a quality product!
