I had been wanting a device like the FlexTILT Prime for a long time, but the products I'd found all had some big limitations: too short, difficult to adjust, bulky, not strong enough, only works on a tripod, and so on. Then I saw a promotional video for the FlexTILT products and the Prime version looked just like what I wanted.
Before I ordered one, I did an extensive search for comparable alternatives, but found nothing close, so I pulled the trigger, and I'm so glad I did.
The build quality is top notch, and I just used it for a project where I needed to shoot straight down from a side mounted tripod into a light box and I couldn't have done this without the FlexTILT.
I think they should have called it the "Star Trek" because it will let your camera go where it's never gone before.
