this is my 4th one and first of the newer version of dream filter. works like a charm

I guess I just don’t see the difference or dreamy effect. I paid over $100 for something I don’t notice.

I mainly use the Dream FX 1/4 for concert photography. I like using it in backlit and stage lighting situations to create a soft glow and enhance atmosphere while keeping my subjects sharp. It works especially well with colored lights and haze, helping give images a more cinematic feel without overpowering detail. I tend to use it selectively depending on lighting conditions, especially during sets with strong highlights or beams.
