Pro 8

First off, the free shipping was nice. The package arrived in reasonable time and was in great shape. In fact the entire packaging of the net was some of the best I’ve ever received. Obvious care and attention to detail was exhibited. Each piece had cardboard ends placed to protect them and then wrapped in plastic to protect the finish. All the pieces were contained in a heavy duty bag too. The instructions were simple, color coded pieces made it easy to determine which piece connected to each other. The snap into the hole system is brilliant and worked well on all but two pieces. For some reason two joints were SO tight that I finally resorted to spraying both ends with WD40 and even then it took a lot of twisting to get them together and secured. That was the only problem I experienced. Total time to put it together was around 30 minutes. It isn’t difficult for one person. I’ve since placed it in position and used it several times. I’ve added a hitting mat and a thin grasslike carpet piece to aid in the ball return. I also bought sand bags to place on the base at the rear because otherwise it will blow over in a light breeze. Since placing the bags it’s remained stable over the past week. I didn’t add the extra side or top curtains because it’s plenty wide at 8’ that I don’t envision missing the entire net. Plus we live out in the country with lots of room. However, if we were in town or had youngsters hitting in to it I can see value in the side nets in particular. I can’t see a need for the top net. Even with my Gap Wedge I can’t get close to the top. But perhaps someone hitting a 60° wedge at full speed might hit it over the top. But that’s not happening for me. It’s a great piece of equipment and I can’t see it lasting years with regular care and maintenance. With the distance I have to drive to practice at the range (24 mikes each way) and the price of range balls ($11 medium bucket) I’ll get much more practice on a regular basis which will only improve my golf game. I’d definitely recommend this to any avid golfer. It doesn’t take up a lot of room and is really well built.

As advertised, happy with the purchase of the Pro 8 with Fly over. For outdoor setup , I rigged a cover to go along with the outdoor cover since I would have to take the flyover each time, easy with tarp and bungy cords. 100% would buy again

Very happy with my pro 8. Easy to assemble and functions great. Strong construction and feel it was built to last.
