COLOGNE CÉDRAT

Matière Première Cologne Cédrat is a bright, crisp and polished citrus fragrance that immediately feels refreshing. The opening delivers a sharp burst of citron and bergamot, followed by a lightly spicy touch of pink pepper that gives it more character than a typical fresh cologne. As it settles, the fragrance becomes clean, smooth and slightly woody while preserving that natural citrus freshness. It smells high-quality and refined without becoming overly complicated. This is an extremely easy fragrance to wear, especially in warm weather, and it would work perfectly for daytime, the office or any occasion where you want to smell fresh and well put together. I enjoyed Cologne Cédrat, although it didn’t grab me quite as strongly as some of Matière Première’s heavier hitters. It’s more understated than attention-seeking, but it accomplishes exactly what it sets out to do. Overall, it’s a sophisticated and very wearable citrus fragrance with the quality I’ve come to expect from the house.
