The Hadenys is a great mid-tier open back offering from Focal. It is comfortable and very light weight. The colorway is nice as it's not just the basic black we see so often these days. The pads are a nice quality memory foam and the fabric is cool and won't show dirt as much as my Clear OGs. The leather accent on the top of the headband is nice and the same fabric as the pads on the underside of the headband is another win. I really like my Bathys so the styling here is great. The mostly plastic build does have some squeaks as you put it on, but once it settles on your head, it's fine. The cable is stiff and memory prone and, of course, there is the single cup entry aspect which limits my ability to cable swap with any of my other cables. The sound is where I feel the Hadenys excels for an open back it has an outstanding bass response: full, punchy and deep. I was surprised even though I had watched several videos and read multiple reviews. The mids and upper-mids are just the right amount of forward to make vocals, both male and female sound excellent and non-shouty. I am somewhat treble sensitive and while the Hadenys may be brighter then I normally would have liked (just looking at the graphs), it doesn't sound that way at all. It has a very nice tonal balance. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. The price, customer service and the sonic club perks were definitely worth making the blind buy.

Love the headphones, only problem is with the wire.
