no more typing induced rage

These are great. quick and easy to put in and instantly comfy. They have passed the be in the same room as that person typing test, and I no longer felt like fairies were kicking my brain with their boots! I'm a 'my clothes are touching me wrong' meltdown kind of person and these can be worn all day and forget they are in. They do not create that head echo when you speak either. Will be recommending to all my neurodiverse friends.

Calmer is life-changing

When I first encountered ads for Calmer, I wondered if they would be useful for my son, who has misophonia. Over time, I started to wonder if maybe I would benefit from it too, as a highly sensitive person. So I ordered a pair. Unfortunately they didn't help my son, but me? I almost cried when I wore them the first time. I hadn't even realized how much my system was constantly being challenged by exposure to harsh sounds. It was like living my whole life squinting in the sun and suddenly being handed a pair of sunglasses. I started wearing them while driving and at noisy stores or social gatherings and I found myself much more able to enjoy such events. But then I lost one, and went for a while without, wondering if maybe I'd been imagining it, or it was the placebo effect, and maybe they didn't make much difference. After all, the effect is so subtle. But you know what? I really found myself missing them. I tried borrowing a pair of Loops Engage that someone had, but they blocked too much sound. I missed my Calmers! So I decided it was time for a multipack! I'm all-in on this product and recommend it to anyone who finds the world overwhelming <3

doesn't fit

unfortunately, after a long process of purchasing first the standard and then the mini, I have found that neither one fits my ear canals properly. I had contacted calmer in advance to ask about fit advice before the first Purchase, but that did not help. The mini fits better than a standard but still does not stay snug and moves around with normal amount of movement moving around in my day. I appreciate that they refunded my standard when I returned it, but I'm really disappointed that neither product worked after all of the money I spent on Calmer and the filters. my son says that we all have such unique ear canals that it's very common that individuals could run into this barrier. I'm glad that it fits well for some folks, but I'm really disappointed this didn't work out for me because I had been waiting for a couple of years to make the purchase
