Nice, but also. . . . Meh

Saw so many ads for these, I thought I'd give them a try. I work in an office where I don't have any control over the sound, lots of people coming and going and I am easily distracted by noises. I didn't notice that much of a difference between the 3 settings on my Switch earplugs. I would probably opt for the basic ones (Quiet) instead, I think one setting would have been fine.

Just as good as I remember

I lost my first pair almost a year ago and I was waiting for another opportunity to get the Loop Switch 2. The 3 modes are so functional you can tell the difference between Engage, Experience, and Quiet. If you want Loops I recommend this version!

As someone that's very sensitive to noise, I wouldn't recommend these for everyday use. They don't block out enough for me, but for anything like concerts or noisy cities they do okay since you want to be aware of your surroundings. The occlusion effect is ridiculous! They really amplify internal sounds. Most cheaper earplugs don't have that issue as badly as these. Now they are very stylish, and the switch is very useful. If you don't wear them all day everyday, and just need something to help you focus or cut down on mild background noise then yes I'd recommend them. Are they worth the price? No. Do they actually work? Yes, for mild background noise. Are they comfortable? No, I can only wear them for 3-4 hours before my ears start hurting. Can you still have a conversation with people? Yes, I could do it on the quiet setting. Can you sleep with them? I wouldn't recommend it. Are they noticable? Very much, unless you have long hair that hides your ears. Again I'm very sensitive to noise so these did the bare minimum for me. If you are someone that can stand most sounds and you are wanting these for specific situations, concerts, movie theaters, busy cities, etc. then go for it. I lose my mind over the hum of a refrigerator which I could still hear with these in so there's a reference.
