Best for slow living

I used this on day hikes in Quebec: city, coastal, and national Park. It did well in the rain and see water. I did not sweat has hard with the canvas as compared to a synthetic material pack. I missed a zippered external pocket but that is the whole vibe of just taking slow.

Simple but very useful

I bought this without a particular use in mind. I love the look of Frost River packs, and owning a few of their items has given me the confidence that this pack will last a lifetime. Today, I used it as a tool carrier during my springtime trail maintenance. Even with a heavy load of sharp objects and awkward shapes, it felt comfortable and sturdy on my back. It’s a simple bucket design, but the quality and durability deserve high praise.
