This jacket is warm! Its light weight and will be perfect for my elk hunt coming up! I cannot wait to get this out on the mountainside. True to badlands quality, these seem like they are going to hold up nicely. I wore this over a thick hoodie and could move freely. If you like to layer heavy you may size up just for a little extra room.

Pretty good but not perfect
Jacket performs well in most wet conditions , is warm and comfortable and is also quiet. But 2 things id change are the neck stitcing is rough and can be itchy, and adding a more quiet layer on the inside of the hood would be nice as the current material makes its very hard to hear anything while the hoodie is on.

This jacket was amazing! It was warm, comfortable and wind proof. Weather ranged from 15 degrees to 40 degrees at 11,300 ft in Colorado elk hunting season 4. Had to layer with a fleece when still hunting. Material is quiet, like really quiet, not sure how they designed it but I will never buy another brand.
