Blackbird Base Plate

I bought the Blackbird with the standard and the lite baseplates and really like them both. The lite plate is noticeably smoother, with less bade feel. Great machining and customer service as usual. I had a problem with my order and they got back to me within hours, not days, and rectified the issue quickly.

Perfect for every day shave! Now my go to versus waiting a few days before using the original blackbird. Love it!

I have and use the Blackbird open comb plate and the Lite plate. The solid be at plate may be the perfect balance of efficiency and aggression. My first shave with it was simply perfect. Kudos to Blackland for the design and engineering behind this.
