Glad I gave it a chance!
The fit and comfort of the Maya with the protection of the Alpine! My first experience with the Invader (first generation) didn’t go so well. The fit was off for me, I was somewhere between the two sizes. This new DH invader fits me exactly like my Maya does. For reference I’m on the upper limit a size S/M Maya and the size XS/M DH Invader fits exactly the same for me.
