Three months after the warranty expired, the battery stopped charging making the device useless. The device lived on my nightstand in its bag except for use and charging. It looked like new. There was no reason for it to suddenly stop functioning. I unsuccessfully tried different charging cables and power outlets. That means the problem was with the device itself.
A device that expensive should not quit working for no reason.
