Alt has done a great job with the Farouche fragrance. The compliments just keep coming. I am up to around 14 bottles of Alt fragrances and I love them all.

Smells Like the Original
The scent smells exactly like the original. The Farouche Elixir deserves a five star, but the customer service deserves a one star. The sprayer never worked from the beginning. I was offered a free return or a credit. I decided to keep the item, if they sent out a new sprayer. It took three emails to get a sprayer sent out. The sprayer works now, but doesn't work with the existing lid. Not a big issue to complain about.

Farouche Elixir VS Sauvage Elixir and Sauvage Parfum
Farouche Elixir is no way near Sauvage Parfum . ut it's close to Sauvage Elixir. I've used both for several years. In Fact I started using Christian Dior Eau Sauvage since 1975, when I lived in the UK and married to a French National.
Over the years, I have been very faithful to Christian Dior , Sauvage brand. This is the only Cologne/Parfum that has brought me complements in the workplace and in supermarkets. I have had both men and women tell me that "you smell awesome, out of this world" All of them have asked me what cologne I used.
Now. coming to your fragrance ((Farouche Elixir). It is a bit too sharp in the smal , compared to Sauvage Elixir. It needs to be softened a bit and the bandwidth widened. It is in no way a substitute to Sauvage Parfum.
