Great Product with One Minor Flaw

This thing is sturdy! For the price point, you are getting a fantastic wire caddy. Using the strap to pull or even sling over your shoulder if the terrain does not permit allows this thing to go anywhere. Its ability to fold up for storage makes this perfect for my needs. This also gives it its only flaw from what I can tell. There is no way to lock the caddy in the open position. It relies on the weight of the spool. I was in a tight space trying to move the caddy through and I tilted it without realizing it. The fulcrum moved juuuust wrong and brought the full weight of the spool onto my finger pinched between the bars. Lesson learned. Won't make that mistake again. Still, fantastic caddy.

Cable Caddy Works Fine

This caddy arrived in good condition and was ready out of the box. Simply open the base and install your spool by removing a hair pin and sliding back the axle. Easy. Save your back by wheeling the spool around - and remove the wire/cable without those annoying twists. A caution: align the caddy so that the cable comes straight off the spool, otherwise it might hop off the spool and get 'wrapped around the axle!" Very happy with the purchase.
