Made a genuine difference - it's only when you take them out and hear what the world really sounds like! They dampen down humms and high pitches which are inevitable in everyday life, and have really helped me to focus and not get quite so overstimulated by too much noise.

I work in a very busy grocery store. I’ve recently been diagnosed with Autism and ADHD. I used to wonder why I was so “noised out” by the end of the day and need to sit in silence for a while after work. I ordered a pair of earplugs from a different company that claimed to be useful for engaging in conversation. But I felt plugged up. I could hear people talking next to me, but customers like to call for me from 10ft away and I couldn’t hear them. Calmer Pros are a lifesaver! I can hear people talking quietly and farther away. I don’t feel plugged. It cuts down the refrigeration, fans, overhead music, scan beeping, kids screaming, low hum of the store, etc. to a tolerable level. I’ve suggested them to everyone that works at this store.

I was skeptical initially, but it does help. It does not block the sound quality the way other earplugs do, but without losing the overall quality of sound, somehow it is so much easier for ear. Quite amazing.
