Novel belongs on the Bestseller list!

This was my first Alt purchase but it certainly will not be my last. I bought Novel based on a review from a TikTok creator/influencer whose nose I trust. I can tell you I consider this my best blind buy purchase of 2026 to date. I’ve become addicted from first spray/sniff. It has a wonderfully unique scent profile that tickles the memory just as its Replica inspiration Whispers in the Library did. As it evolves, it smells like a light, airy vanilla woody paper. I like that it is not a strong, overpowering fragrance but rather very subtle. The way the notes blend thru dry down is masterful. It really does take on the scent of paper in an old book. It reminds me of my college days cuddled in a corner of the library devouring Thoreau or trekking to the Village on a rainy day to pass time in my favorite used book store. While I first thought it would be confined to fall and winter use, I am finding myself using it at least once a week deep into the Spring. The projection and performance are not quite as strong as I would expect from an extrait but it does carry for about 4 hours. On skin, however, the scent lingers for 9-10 hours which is outstanding. Full transparency, I do believe my own experience is impacted by the fact that I do not properly moisturize my skin and it is usually very dry. I could not be happier with Novel and with Alt. One last comment. Shipping was really quick. I look forward to exploring their lineup and treating my nose to more wonder. Thanks for a great product.
