Bison Liver

I have cooked beef liver for my dog for years and the smell was so nauseating. I was grossed out but I’ve read how beneficial consuming liver is - I thought could ever eat it. I found a suggestion online to try bison liver. After much research I ordered from Heritage. My order was processed quickly. It arrived packaged so neatly. The care they put into packaging it ensured the bison stayed frozen. I appreciated the cooking instructions and the personal note included. When it was time to cook it, I immediately noticed the texture was different than beef. Also, there wasn’t that familiar mineral smell. Even though there was a slight liver taste, it was no where near beef. I thought it was really good! I will definitely order again.
