I had my first menstrual accident using the nixit disc and I'm 40 years old. I found it to be very sometime-ish, meaning on heavier flow days, I was more susceptible to the disc not staying in place. On lighter days, it was hard to pull out. And when removing it in either case, it was always an absolute mess with blood everywhere. I don't think I've had to clean and shower as much as I did using this disc. I had high hopes, but I can't say it worked well for me. Honestly, Flex's disposable disc worked 100 times better than this one :-/
