Old horses have a way of humbling you. For the last 18 months, my old quarter horse Rio struggled off and on with diarrhea. The vet explained that older horses can develop malabsorption issues and said we could spend thousands trying to chase answers. I felt discouraged at times, but I wasn’t giving up on this old timer. Rio and I had a standing weekly date to clean up his backside and tail. He’d just stand there patiently like the gentleman he is, letting me get all up in his business 😂 — and you could see in his eyes he was thankful. Then a family member in Texas told us about GutX after having a similar experience with her senior horse… and it has honestly been life changing for both of us.
