I was not in a position to choose the color of the front of the stem from the beginning, just the nature of my purchase. I am a bit bummed about the seemingly high price for this item, but the quality and fit are exactly as one would want and expect . It is nice to be able to change some of the aluminum fittings around the bike to create something of a unique and/or personally preferred look. In a world where so many items especially the black carbon look for stems and seatposts provide little or no choice, it is nice to have some. And, the color selection is quite interesting.

Same as it ever was. Just like my blue and black ones before it, the grey faceplate looks great and does its thing. Thought my old 90mm Moots stem was a forever wall hanger, but then hello gravel bike!
