One of the otiginal Inner Caps failed...after 11 years. I replaced all of them so I expect them to last a long time.
The failed inner cap caused one of the cable ends to slip out, so I thought the cable had failed. I feel good to have spare cables, just in case.
These are very high quality products. But the Big reward is how much they add to the driving experience...shift after shift.

After one of my shifter caps got disconnected I was sent a replacement pack by numeric, they were extremely easy to install and now the cars running great
