CB Antenna Stud Mount (Lug)

Adaptable piece of kit

Used this stud to mount a quick disconnect to a Jeep roof rack to attach a 16' retractable mast for a 1/2 wave dipole CB antenna. This setup is for stationary use, but the stud and the locking QD make for quick setup and take-down. Quality gear, quickly shipped, and great service. The Right Channel Radios videos helped me pick the correct stud for my application.

The lug mount was easy to install after drilling the 1/2 inch hole required for installation. The threads are compatible with my antenna, a spring or a quick disconnect. The finish is of high quality. The only down side is the supplied eyelet connector for connecting the cable. I found it to be really cheap. I will replace it with one that I know won't fail.
