The scanner works great. I wish the battery would last a little bit longer. I will buy an extra battery for it. The county that I work in has now gone all encrypted, which I cannot scan anything from them. Hopefully, the county that I live in does not go fully encrypted they are talking but other than that nice little scanner

Sophisticated product

I was looking for a new scanner. We have a 20 year old unit that only gets channel 16 marine band. After reading up on units, I thought I was getting a unit that would scan our county, the next county and the coast guard. I had to have the store load the 2 counties. The CB pre loaded n marine band does not get channel 16 or 22A. You have to load them by their MHz. I don’t know how to do this. If you are extremely tech savvy, then this is a top end unit. For myself, it was way more than ai can use
