Super Easy Solid Granny Square – Beginner Crochet Pattern

I bit the bullet (a quilter of 20 years), admitted that crochet also takes experience to succeed. So, I tried "The Secret Yarnery" pattern for Granny Square beginners. It was stress free, fun and I learned a lot about tension. And I now have a beautiful baby afghan for my new granddaughter. Thank you to the Secret Yarnery!

I like the solid granny square because it doesn’t have the holes in them. The pattern is easy to follow and there is a video tutorial if I need extra help.

I am half way done with my first "practice" one. When I am learning something new, I just use so left over cheap yarn, and practice. So I have, but tomorrow, yarn shopping for good, purples and ecru, hee we come!
