Great Slam…frees up my FET Compressor

I’m using this module's slam mode on its own send across my mix to add punch to whatever needs it. It’s allowing me to free up my Serpent FETs for the drum bus. I was skeptical that a color module would provide a realistic compression for <$210 in dual mono. Simply fantastic for that little bit of color in a parallel compression application.

Incredible module!

I can't tell you how this compares to an actual 1176 but I can tell you that it sounds great! Very easy to get a great tone and it's a great choice for a (relatively) affordable hardware compressor, plus of course you get the added benefit of the flexibility of the Colour format. Incredible!
