Sharp edge, nice grip for wet hands

Not all nippers are the same. I am a fly fishing guide and the cheap black nippers usually last me a month before they dull. These Loon nippers go about 3 months and cut as clean and easy as they did when they are brand new. I think the only reason I end up replacing them is because I occasionally try to cut the eye of a hook on accident when in a rush (which will dull any nippers). Cuts tippet, loose hackle, loose thread, or fly wire nice and clean. The rubber grip gives you a nice grasp when your hands are wet and cold.
