Ok but with limitations

This is a light, convenient, quick locking system for those times when you need to leave your bike for a few minutes, to deter opportunists, not a high security solution. 1 weakness is if you 'jiggle' it for a few minutes you can pull it apart - it was locked to my rucksack and worked loose causing it to fall off. Surprisingly Sufficient

I already had a Z Lok Combo in black, and thought I could use an orange one for a different bike. I use these to secure my helmet to the bike when I get off. Well, I ordered the Z Lok thinking it was another combination lock model, so I was a bit surprised when I opened the package. The Z Lok turns out to be easier to use, especially in the dark. The key is small, easy to carry and easy to use unlocking the tie, even in the dark. I was going to order another combo model, but really, this is all I need. It's a winner.

It works, but do't lose the key

The Z lock is a glorified zip tie which would probably require a bolt cutter to break into it. It comes with a little two-prong key which opens it. I use it to connect my bike helmet to my bike frame when I park the bike in a public place. (The bike, of course, is locked to a bike rack of other immovable object.) The Z lock saves having to carry a bike helmet around when you get off the bike to shop or for any other activity.
