I've used MP since 2004 and I've never had any of your formulas behave the way this one did. Began my process by lifting my hair about five levels, rest one day, then deposit. Rinse cold, wash super cold with color sensitive shampoo as normal. It transfers on anything I wear. It got to the point where I was using hot water and a clarifier to get it out. The water still doesn't run clear months on. I never write reviews but I'm still dumbfounded by this. Otherwise, I absolutely love this color and how rich and decadent it looks. It almost gives old Hollywood. As a former stylist I know that reds and purples are notoriously difficult to stabilize in terms of formula and longevity of wear. I absolutely understand that. Just thought I would share and of course I will continue to purchase other colors. Thank you for your time!

The best burgundy

I’ve been dying my hair vampire red for many years on and off, and one of the best things about this color is that it fades out pink instead of orange, so my natural dirty blonde hair fades to a lovely rose gold if I don’t have time to keep up with dying it every 6 weeks. It’s cool-toned and deeply pigmented, and it’s fairly long-lasting if you avoid heat. Highly recommend, especially if you’re not into bleaching your hair.
