Bike is cool, but installation was not great

Incorrect instructions sent in the box. had to shave the metal in the front brake mounting hole to get the installation done.

Public makes great bikes.

I originally was on wait queue for another...my mistake when placing order. I thought I would regret making the mistake and not amending it in time.....but after I received the Black C1 put pedals and handlebar on, adjusted pressure in tyres. I road off with only 1speed. Arrrgh I felt and thought as I was just to put foot to pedal to ride. Several seconds later riding smooth fast easy...wow! All regrets gone. Smooth pedaling nice speed comfortable height of bars and saddle. Couldn’t be happier. I love the look of Public Bikes, reminds me of my childhood visiting Amsterdam or Copenhagen or Stockholm or home on British soil. City or country riding makes me Happy Happy Happy. This C1 has the same effect now on a 66yr old man. Design most Europeans enjoy and relate to while living in NYC saw many on street around town. At the time I had an bike than used CitiBikes. Now I’ve got my own Public Bikes model Black C1 It’s all good from here on. Many Thanks PB. A fan jlc

I have one of the first Public Bikes, but the middle bar is too high, and I could not get off by myself. This C1 is my dream bike. I waited 6 months for it. Ride only at New Jersey shore, which is flat. I love the way you sit up, rather than forward. Is there a reward for customer loyalty? I need a lock. Best wishes, Karen Edelstein Avalon, NJ
