A cut above

I'm not gonna rehash what has already been said. People have taken the time to meticulously review all of the features of this outstanding coat. What I have to say is this, I have been a Filson man for decades. Very sad to see that corporate raiders and private equity have destroyed yet another classic american company. That said, having worn my Filson, double mac and mac jacket into oblivion, I was searching for a replacement. Filson did not keep tabs with changing needs and preferences.They also did not update their sizing. No one wants to spend a thousand dollars on a coat that you can't close the top button because you risk choking to death and cannot layer underneath without it looking like a tent. The AAJ is worth every cent. It is meticulously designed, lighter in weight and warmer. The quality of this jacket is simply unmatched, anywhere at any price. I am so glad that I found Weather Wool. This was the first item I purchased and am now wearing my fifth. Here's to an outstanding new american made, locally sourced, best in class quality company.
