Half Rack Functional Trainer with Smith Machine

5/5 Stars for the Machine, But Watch Out for Assembly and QC Overall Rating: 5 ⭐️ (The Machine Itself) | Assembly & QC: 2 ⭐️ The Good: This thing is a tank. Shipping was relatively fast, arriving in two massive wooden crates and secured. Once put together, it looks and feels like commercial gym quality. For an all-in-one machine with a 200 lb weight stacks, it is an absolute bargain. The Assembly & Instructions (1 ⭐️): The included directions are practically useless. The numbered parts did not match up with the illustrations, and to make matters worse, I actually received the instructions for an entirely different machine. I had to rely heavily on searching YouTube for various assembly videos to get it done. Quality Control & Parts (3 ⭐️): QC definitely has room for improvement. I was missing the nuts and bolts required to attach the cables, which forced an unexpected trip to Lowe's. They also sent two sets of cables, but after starting to install one side, I realized it was 3 feet too short. Design & Usability Notes: Leg Press: The leg press attachment is too cumbersome to take on and off, and the pins do not align easily. I really wish they had just provided a low-row footplate for cable rows instead. Smith Machine: The hooks for the Smith machine should have been built directly onto the bar rather than being separate. Frame Alignment: Because of the modular design, once I installed the stability legs, the four inner legs no longer touched the floor. I had to place 1/4-inch wood blocks under them to level it out. Final Verdict: If you are willing to deal with a frustrating assembly process and a few missing pieces, the final product is an incredibly solid, commercial-grade machine for the price.

Seriously a very well made heavy duty machine. Love it. I do wish it had 1:1 ability for pulleys but I fixed that easily with bar which attaches to both pulleys. Also have a weight stack pin that allows plates to be loaded onto it. This machine is a deal! Couldn’t be happier!

Amazing, sturdy and reliable equipment. Could use more videos on how to out it together, but ince I fugured that out, the machine is a beast for an amazing price!
