RunStar 8E ImpactGuard Body Fat Scale

Results from the scales seem consistent and a lot of information is presented well in the app. I've found that unless the Starfit app is actually open, then the results don't always transfer to the phone. With 'body shape assessment' turned on in the Starfit app settings, my body type is classed as 'obese' - I'm certainly not! I suspect most people who do weight-training would get the same result. It is the BMI figure that causes this and is probably why BMI measurements are outdated. It would be better to omit BMI from the scales altogether. I asked a couple of questions before purchasing and swiftly got replies from RunStar. Overall, recommended scales and RunStar seems to be a decent company.

I've been using the RunStar body fat scale because my cholesterol levels have been consistently rising and an internet ad got me thinking how one could be useful in tracking my weight and others measures on a daily or semi-weekly basis so I could see trends, what worked, when I had to be more disciplined. I researched scales and decided this one was the best value. Three weeks in, I'm very happy with it.

Easy to set up and the app gives you so much information. Very pleased with my purchase.
