Customizable Badge MA26

It’s an over all good badge. The lettering was accurate and done well. As a retirement badge it will be used in a case so it will be protected some. The pin attachment on the back seems a little weak but time will tell if this is an issue. The State Seal wording was correct and appears secured firmly. The only problem was there were small surface scratches over the lettering in some areas. It was like after cutting out the lettering on the badge face, an aggressive buffer was used to remove any excess or rough edges around the cut letters. After looking at it closely, I decided to use some Never Dull polish combined with a wool buffer bonnet on my Dremel tool. After about an hour or two I was able to buff out the scratches and get a nice shine on the badge face. After buffing it well I am satisfied with it and it looks nice. I hope it will last the rest of my lifetime. An update: The same day that I published this review I was contacted by the company. They had read this and offered to replace my badge. I was impressed by the concern they showed that the badge may have had a defect and was willing to replace it right away. I didn’t see it as a defect but just a small buffing issue. I turned down their offer of replacement just because it will do just fine as is. I am impressed with the badge and the company’s quick response to the customer and product. A+
