What the Eye Dr Ordered

This is my fifth different photochromatic lens from Julbo and probably my favorite. They are clear enough to wear on my bike at night or to put on for a sunrise run and have them darken as the sun comes up. The copper high contrast tint is perfect for picking out roots on a trail run without robbing the world of its natural color. The grippy temples hold my head without discomfort and slide under hats and helmet straps with ease. The lenses provide great coverage and wrap around protection and the nose bridge vent seems to work as intended. Except on snow or water, where I'll want a polarized lens, I expect I'll have these on anytime I'm outside until the lenses are scratched beyond usefulness.

Little bit on the bright side

I was thinking that when I put them on, it would darken a little bit, with bright sunshine. However, it only had a slight darkness. It's a little brighter than I was expecting, but I guess you can't have the best of both worlds all at once.

Great glasses. Light weight, forget they are on. Excellent optics- no edge distortion, crystal clear, no lens reflections/glare. Photochromic lens work as advertised.
